I found this book well written with a unique plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. While the ending was a little predictable, the journey the book takes the reader is gripping with twists and turns that keep the reader entertained. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a wonderful book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.

REVIEW: Falling to the Viking by M. Garnet

Falling to the Viking
Author: M. Garnet
Genre: Time Travel, contemporary romance
Length: 58 pages
Rating: 4 Stars - Recommended Read
Heat: 3 - Blush Worthy
Can I be cliché and say Falling to the Viking , is a blast from the past. Kathyrn visits Denmark to meet her Aunt, looking for information about the parents she never knew. What she finds instead is a one way ticket back to the past! During a trip to a local museum a mishap with an elevator lands her in a foreign land where she doesn’t speak the language. Full of action , adventure, and some heavy handed dominance, seriously , think about what it would be like in a Viking village in the 1600’s, there were some intense and hard to take scenes.
I won’t ruin it, but I will say it’s not for the squeamish. The ending came up fast, so I never felt we got to know the hero, or get a good feel for how she’d handle being in the time, or if she’d ever return home. It felt more like a serial than a stand alone. For that reason and the quick transition from almost captive status to acceptance, I gave this a 4. However, f you don’t mind a bit of violence *coughs*…their Vikings, and you’re looking for something different and steamy, it might be right up your alley.
M. Garnet does an excellent job of transporting you not only from America to Denmark, but back in time. Her descriptions truly brought the story to life. This is an interesting short that answers the question what if you got thrown back in time.
Different but captivatingly interesting novel!!

'File A Proper Claim' by M. Garnet is an interesting novel based on the genre of science - fiction. Writer M. Garnet has a very well imagined story line where a well trained and well experience young female archaeologist Dr. Norris 'Patty' is sent along with a group of some other scientists on a planet similar to Earth for exploration. This planet has many natives similar to the natives in the jungle of Earth but they have their own technology and livelihood. Archeologist 'Patty's' world is turned upside down when the natives want to only negotiate with scientists of earth for trading Patty since she is a female and they have lack of females on their planet and they refer 'Patty' as a 'breeder'.
Author M. Garnet has given a wonderful description of flora, fauna, jungle and climate of this planet along with an appealing description of natives masculine appearance which makes visualisation of the story easy for its readers. Though the book begins with a slow and somewhat boring description of Dr. Norris's work and work environment but after reading a few chapters readers are drawn in by very interesting story which is so captivating that one cant get their hands off the book, leaving the book in middle feels like leaving an interesting sci-fi movie in between.
I would love to compare author M. Garnets 'File A Proper Claim' with the famous and blockbuster movie 'Avatar'. I am sure this book can make a perfect sci-fi tv show since it has a well imagined storyline of other planets exploration and some main characters giving it an interesting touch.
I would suggest all those who want to go by the negative reviews about this book are sure to miss on something very interesting. This book is highly recommended to all and esp. to children, youngsters and to all those interested in something with a new sci-fi storyline. Well Its a must read!!
Five Star Must Read Review
I love Sci-Fi romance so I was intrigued by the blurb for Twins' Slave. This one doesn't disappoint in either the science fiction category or the erotic romance one. I will say that there are some D/s undertones and it took me more than half the book before I cared much for either twin. It was Lorelei who won my heart.
She is one of the most impressive female leads that I've come across. The science fiction is solid and the concept of Twinned Dessnue is creative and fascinating. The story is very sensual and erotic. There were times that I could have slapped either Bleak or Leant for being such jerks but the twins grew on me as I got to know them and they got to know and love Lorelei.
I enjoyed learning about the alien culture and the behind the scenes power struggle is suspenseful. This is a really fantastic read and I highly recommend it. I do hope there is more to come in this intriguing world created by Ms. Garnet.
